black diamond
Black Diamond is a formal that Fiji, a fraternity, puts on every year. It is a huge deal and if you are a boy and get invited that means you are extremely privileged. So when all the boys get asked, every girl is hoping that they can escort the boys to this formal since everyone hears so many fun and entertaining stories about Black Diamond. All the freshmen take limos to the Four Seasons Hotel and all the freshman stay in villas at the luxurious hotel. Also the fraternity plans a delicious dinner along with music and dancing all night. I was lucky enough to go with a friend to the formal and it was everything I imagined. The frat did a great job putting this huge event together. I hope I will be able to go again next year!

I also attended this event and I thought the same. It lived up to all of my expectations. Although, I did hear that some people did not have as good of a time. Some freshmen did not get rooms and others had difficulties with roommates. The organization of this event could have been better seeing as some freshmen ended up driving home. I do agree though that for those who did not have any difficulties the night went extremely well and was everything one could hope for.
I agree, it was a gorgeous and very well done event. I had know idea that fraternity boys were capable of hosting such a classy evening. Everything from the old Christmas songs playing in the house, to the scrumptious dinner was well thought out and well executed. It was definitely a night that I will always remember.
